Michael Young 100 Conference: Tackling Inequality in the 21st Century
2015 is the centenary year of the birth of Michael Young (1915-2002), pioneering social scientist, political activist and social innovator. To mark this anniversary, the Young Foundation is hosting a major conference bringing social innovators, practitioners and academics together to explore Michael Young’s achievements and continuing influence.
The day will include both reflection on the impact of his legacy, as well as discussion on contemporary thinking and innovation in our efforts to tackle todays rising inequality. The day will bring together insights and ideas from thinkers and doers from across the social innovation and equality movements. The event is to take place on the 11 November to take part in this unique conversation about innovation and community.
