Best Social Partnership – the SP contest

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Project Office in Warsaw together with the Center of European Projects (Krajowy Ośrodek Europejskiego Funduszu Społecznego) are organizing the third edition of the competition for the Best Social Partnership of the Year.

The competition is addressed for institutions which build partnerships committed to the creation of durable and stable social enterprises which contribute to the social and professional activation of marginalized people, create durable economic relations between the partners and contribute to the development of social entrepreneurship in Poland.

The contest aims to promote social enterprises based on partnerships and honor those partnerships which contribute to building and developing social initiatives with engaging corporate social responsibility and cause positive changes in their local environments.

The prizes will be awarded in two categories:

Category I: The Best Social-Private Partnership of the Year 2013.

Category II: The Best Social-Public Partnership of the Year 2013.

An audience prize – The Best Social Partnership of the Year 2013 – will also be awarded. Information about all the partnerships that apply for the contest will be published on the contest’s website. Out of them, the internet users will be able to choose the most interesting enterprise according to them.

The winners will be awarded with a study visit for a representative of their partnership to one of the member states of the European Union organized by the Center of European Projects and a training organized by the United Nations Development Programme.

The gala during which the winners will be announced will take place on 24 October 2013.
