The II European School of Social Innovation
The second European School of Social Innovation is set to take place this summer in Spain. The aim of this Summer school is to present the three big ideas relating to Social Innovation (SI) worldwide:
- The primary goal is the understanding of SI in terms of influencing factors and dimensions, which have significant consequences in academic studies on SI as well as in policy development in support of SI.
- The second Objective of the school is to explore the discussion among different models in order to measure SI. The development of SI indicators facilitates understanding, drive, and the design of public policies.
- Finally, our purpose is to present interesting cases which show how Social Innovation works in practice and how it can expand into other social environments.
The European school on Social Innovation is run by the ZSI (Zemtrum für Innovation Soziale Wien, Austria), the Social Research Center of the University Technologi of Dortmund, Germany, and Sinnergiak Social Innovation Center, Euskampus, The University of Basque Country, Basque Country.
